Synovus Bank, one of the largest community banks in the Southeast, takes its commitment to community seriously. Synovus Bank leaders recognize even during difficult economic times, people want to give back to their community, and that giving time is a significant contribution. This inspired the company to create the “It’s Time We Donate” campaign in partnership with Client Focused Media and HandsOn Jacksonville to encourage businesses and individuals to give of their time to nonprofit organizations.
Synovus Bank works to create a culture of volunteering within their organization, knowing that when employees volunteer together they get to know one another better and form stronger relationships, benefitting both the company and the community.
Bank employees regularly serve meals at Clara White Mission and volunteer at Ronald McDonald House, Florida Baptist Children’s Home, and numerous other area nonprofits and community organizations. Many employees also serve on boards of directors for Jacksonville area nonprofits, bringing their expertise to nonprofit leadership, helping to shape the vision and direction of our nonprofit community.
