Dr. Patrick Hutton Brings Gift of Healing to Uninsured

Hutton2Doctor Patrick Hutton has been volunteering at The Way Free Clinic since 2007 as a regular health care provider. Dr. Hutton commits at least one Saturday a month to care for uninsured men and women of Clay County through his volunteer work at the clinic. He has also met with patients at his offices in Fleming Island and has performed numerous orthopedic surgeries at Orange Park Medical Center completely free of charge.

Dr. Hutton’s presence at The Way Free Clinic has allowed men and women with skeletal complaints to receive quality, comprehensive care that they otherwise would not be able to access. Thanks to Dr. Hutton’s generous services, many uninsured patients have been able to return to work and self-sufficiency.

HuttonDr. Hutton has also served on the clinic’s board of directors, acted as their medical director and played a key role in growing the clinic and its reputation in the community.

The dedicated care and generous spirit Dr. Hutton brings to the clinic have affected many individuals in our community. To date, he has volunteered more than 1,000 hours of his time to patient care through the Way Free Clinic.

Dr. Hutton will receive the HandsOn Health Award at Celebrate!GOOD 2014.
